Well I love it. As for my cats???? One loves it and drinks from it all the time. 2nd one is curious about it and drinks out of it occasionally. And 3rd cat won't touch it. it's as if she doesn't know it's water. so bummer, I still have to have a bowl out every day along side the fountain.I love the very quiet sound of water. No motor irritating your ears. Nice and wide for drinking from the pool, and a good spout of water to drink directly from. Cleaning is super easy. Great price too. After a year and seven months... this is not for everyone

Me and my cat both love this water fountain. She has no issues drinking out of it. She sometimes sits and stares at it listening to the very small noises it makes and swipes at the water with her paw or dips her head into the water as a refresher. The reason I came back to write this review well over a year later is to warn those who are not willing to stick to the upkeep this fountain requires. It is necessary that you clean the fountain AT LEAST every 2 weeks (and thats really pushing it, you should clean it weekly). You would be doing a disservice to your cat by not maintaining the fountains cleanliness and I would even say creating a safety risk allowing them to drink out of it past two weeks and would be better off having them drink from a regular water bowl. You must to commit to at least 15 minutes disassembling the fountain and cleaning all the grooves and corners and holes this fountain has to ensure you are cleaning every nook and cranny. You would be surprised how dirty and contaminated the water and parts become after just a week. I love this fountain for my cat so I am willing to do what it takes to keep it clean for her to use (and the parts are easy to take apart and put back together). Note: my dog does not go near it, but this is also consistent for him, as he is scared of his reflection in metal bowls and refuses to go near them. But perhaps your dog may enjoy this as well. It’s a little higher than our previous fountain and I think she likes that. She took right to it. It’s quiet and easy to clean. Good product.

Quiet, easy to clean. But my cats don't like it. They have another one they like but I bought this one because the others pump was sometimes not working and the dish had dried up. It's important my cats have water. They both are super seniors and drink a lot of water. I think the pump only last so long. They were cheap to replace.This fountain is reliable so far.
